Reviving Resilient Landscapes FREE Workshops

FREE!

Date:  Saturday, November 16th
Location:  Acadiana Park
Time:  8am to 11am

Calling all plant enthusiasts! Sign up for the first of a series of 8 workshops with local conservation groups; attendees will participate in a demo garden planting, get advice and free plants!

Workshop participants will learn about stormwater management and resiliency through native plantings, have an opportunity to install a demonstration area, and receive advice from regional conservation experts as well as complimentary plants necessary to install a resilient landscape at their own residence.

Resilient native landscapes are characterized by their ability to withstand regional hydrologic conditions, foster stormwater management, improve surface water quality, and provide a high wildlife value including building up migratory bird corridors.
