Sunday, October 6:















The *Service was led by Mike Waldon and the presentation explained the UU's history dealing with the LGBTQ community and UULALA's history of becoming a Welcoming Congregation. The Service was followed by a delicious Potluck meal and the purging of unnecessary items from the outbuilding prior to moving to the new building at 1119 Johnston St. Thanks to those who helped set up/take down, brought food, and helped with the purging. You did a great job!

Monday, October 7th:














Move the Mindset held their monthly meeting at the downtown library. They are planning a trip to Montgomery, Alabama to visit the Equal Justice Initiative, Legacy Museum and Memorial Park. You can find out more about our coalition partner at their website: www.movethemindset.org

Morris Hoagland picked a wonderful sermon for this coming Sunday's Service. Since he will be out of town, Scott Ferguson will present Morris' sermon: "Community – We Drink from Wells We did not Dig". We will also be voting on t-shirts and other issues.
